Materialise Ukraine 10th Anniversary

Materialise Ukraine 10th Anniversary

This August we celebrate a 10 year anniversary of Materialise in the Ukraine. Over the course of this relatively short period of time we have grown into one of the most technologically innovative and exciting company both in the Ukraine and globally. We are proud that we are taking part in a development of cutting edge technologies as well as contemporary design pieces.

Our contribution to rapid prototyping and 3D printing industry is hard to overstate. Virtually all contemporary 3D printers run on the software developed by Materialise Research and Development office in Kiev. Not only do we develop the software, but also we assist in construction and preparation of the most complicated 3D files to 3D printing. It is a special feeling to be able to work on projects with some of the biggest manufacturers, organizations such as NASA and healthcare institutions in an effort to build a better world.

We have been involved in the development of the newest medical solutions, which enables doctors to prepare personalized treatment for every specific patient. With our technologies it is possible to scan, adapt and produce prosthetics on a personalized level, which guarantees the most effective, safe and comfortable treatment or replacement of body parts.

Contemporary art is becoming more and more technologically involved. More and more artists turn to our technology to produce their creations, designs, and models. This year we have been working on several exciting projects with world class architects and designers to help them bring their ideas to life. It is an amazing experience to be able to see first hand how the design is being conceived, produced and finished.

Our rapid prototyping and 3D printing technologies are so versatile that we can simultaneously work in several completely unrelated industries. Therefore, majority of the projects that we are involved in are unique and one of a kind.

We have also been involved in the latest Materialise development i.materialise, a service that allows everyone to experience state of the art 3D printing capabilities of Materialise. Our team in Kiev has developed the website for this project from scratch and oversees all support and file preparation activities for i.materialise.

One of the most important achievements that we have managed to accomplish during the past 10 years is to grow from a small office with only a few employees to almost 300 people in development, engineering and staff. We are very proud that our office has become the biggest in the whole Materialise group. We do realize though, that size alone does not constitute very much in terms of opportunities and job satisfaction for our employees, and therefore we constantly strive to provide multidimensional opportunities in project management, personal development, medical engineering and various other disciplines.

Our employees have a chance to experience and work with the latest technologies as well as gain access to a comprehensive Materialise knowledge base accumulated over the years within the company. We are looking forward to continue making valuable contribution to 3D printing industry as well as society, healthcare, and innovation in technology. We would like to thank everyone who made it possible, and contributed to our growth and accomplishments over these years. We have a strong ambition and potential to continue pushing the boundaries of our technology in the coming years.
