Recruitment Process

Once your CV received, we will peruse it and a confirmation letter will be sent to you. After the shortlisting process, successful candidates will be contacted. If you are one of them, you'll be given a phone call to discuss the time convenient for you to come for an interview.

The subsequent selection procedure consists of several steps.

Step 1: Initial interview with HR manager
At first you will meet with our HR manager, who will present you Materialise activities, essential details of the labour contract and other working conditions. You'll be prompted to answer general questions regarding work motivation, job experience and your personality. Besides HR manager will ask some of the questions in English, to test your language skills.
This interviewing step usually lasts about 15-20 minutes.

Step 2: Interview with Technical Expert / Practical Test
On the interview with Technical Expert your competence and qualification with be evaluated. You will be asked a various number of questions regarding your experience, projects you took part in, technologies you are familiar with, etc.
This step also involves a practical professional test which is intended to evaluate your current professional level and lasts 1-2 hours, depending on your swiftness and the position you are applying for.
Normally practical test for candidates on Test Engineer position takes about 1 hour. Practical test for Software Developer - 2 hours. Practical test can be done on the same day as interview, or any other day that is convenient for you.

Step 3: Final interview with General Manager
If you manage to pass successfully all the previous steps of selection, you will be invited for a final interview with the general manager of Materialise Ukraine. In the course of the meeting you will be offered to join the company, informed about your competence level.

After all Steps of the Preselection Process are passed successfully, you will be sent a Job Offer with all Collaboration details described in it.
